The unit is designed to transfer the input signal with the highest possible linearity , amplified in current and voltage.
The big power handling capability, on very difficult or low impedance load, is achieved from a 500VA toroidal transformer with a capacitor bank of 80.000uF, the power reserve to reproduce the musical transient in a absolutely realistic way.
Four pair of fast power bipolar transistor MJL3281/1302 in a complementary output stage, present in many famous amplifier designs, can drive high peak current safely.
The output stage is based on a triple darlington configuration, wich is greatly linear in current amplification, so we convert the voltage input signal in a current signal before to drive the output stage.
This configuration allows a very high intrinsic linearity so we can design the unit with a very low feedback.
Moreover, to increase the linearity at the low level signal, the output stage is biased to give the first 10W /8Ohm in A-class; this solution is foundamental to achieve the correct harmonic reproduction of a low level signal.
This Monoblock is a 100W/8Ohm power unit and double the power on 4 Ohm until 390W on 2Ohm; a big power reserve that allows to drive any loudspeakers even in a big room.
This unit is equipped with the finest connectors production from Neutrik and WBT and can be connected at the Linestage with a trigger link.
