The Sapphire Phonostage is an high end MM-MC Phono Equalizer unit into a very compact jewel case. This Phonostage is very flexible: four dip-switch banks allows you to set the input impedance and the gain to match perfectly any MM or MC cartridge. It's high gain with the very low noise allow the unit to be used with low output MC.

The RIAA equalization is made by a passive network of selected low tolerance resistors and capacitors.
One state-of-the-art IC National LME49710 for each stage give at this Phonostage high precision, very low distortion and transparency at the low level signal of MC cartridges.
A double stabilized power supply with a low noise toroidal transformer complete this unit.
